Most walnuts in the market are mass-produced, polished and stored for months. Rare Amrit does it differently. Rare Amrit Kashmiri Walnuts vs Ordinary Walnuts Colour & Grade Rare Amrit Kashmiri Walnuts vs Ordinary Walnuts Colour & Grade Rare Amrit: Premium snow white giri, rare quality. Ordinary: Mixed, dull, uneven quality – often blended with cheaper lots. Taste & Texture Rare Amrit: Soft, buttery, rich oil – no harsh bitterness when fresh. Ordinary: Often dry, stale or overly bitter due to long storage and poor handling. Processing Rare Amrit: Raw, sun-dried in natural Kashmiri air, hand-cleaned. Ordinary: Frequently bleached, polished or chemically cleaned, sometimes mechanically over-dried. Origin & Traceability Rare Amrit: Single-origin Kashmir, directly from selected orchards. Ordinary: Imported/unknown origin, mixed varieties with no real traceability. Nutrition Rare Amrit: High Omega-3, polyunsaturated fats and antioxidants retained due to gentle sun-drying. Ordinary: Nutrients often oxidised or lost due to aggressive processing and long storage.
